Self funding

If you intend to meet the cost of your treatment yourself then payment is taken in advance of the initial assessment. Any subsequent sessions will be invoiced at the end of each month. If you require any bespoke orthotics then we will send you a written quotation following your appointment. Payment is accepted by can pay by cash, cheque, card or bank transfer.

Finance

Our orthotists treat children and adults for a huge range of orthotic needs. We realise that your requirement to see us isn’t always planned for and that sometimes you will need a little help to afford the best quality care. Therefore, we able to to provide subsidised finance packages to help make any orthotic solutions immediately affordable. We keep the costs as low as possible. 12 months finance is available from 0% APR, and payment terms can extend to 60 months for 7.9% APR. If you have been recommended a course of treatment or a device with will cost in excess of £500, we will make you aware of our finance packages and provide more information upon request. If you choose our finance option then there will be a quick online application process .You will be able to see a full range of finance options and choose a payment plan that suits you. Following application you will receive an immediate decision as to whether you will be accepted.

If you are claiming through and insurance provider

We are registered with all major private medical insurers and can invoice them directly for your treatment. Not all policies cover orthotic devices. You would need to check your insurance policy to ensure orthotic devices are covered. Insurance providers we are registered with include:

For smaller providers, if it’s not possible to invoice directly, we will provide you with a receipt detailing the HCPC number of any clinicians to enable you to claim the cost of your appointment back.

When you ask us to claim money through an insurance provider, we will ask you for the following details:

  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Home address
  • Insurance provider
  • Policy number
  • Authorisation number

Medico-legal

Case managers and solicitors can contact us directly to arrange assessment and report writing for their clients. As soon as we know about your requirements, we can provide you with an estimate for the cost of an initial assessment and any reports that you would like from us.

If you are a case manager, we can provide details of your clients recommended course of treatment, and the associated cost, after their initial assessment. We will proceed as soon as we have received authorisation from you. We work in line with the rehabilitation code to ensure that your client can return to as close as possible to their previous levels of activity or productivity in as short a time frame as possible.

Third parties

We can work on the behalf of military organisations, clinical commissioning groups, local authorities, sports teams, employers, embassies, and charities to provide orthotic services for safety, performance and rehabilitation.

If you have an arrangement with a third party to pay for your orthotics fees, then the first step is to arrange a consultation an assessment with one of our orthotists. We will then provide your funding provider with a quote for the services and devices that we have recommended for you. We will order your device and begin your treatment plan as soon as we have received authorisation, and will bill your organisation directly.

We also work directly with employers and sports teams to maximise performance, optimise work conditions and increase the safety of their employees. We can visit you to understand your needs fully.
