Carbonhand

The Carbonhand is a diverse and simple device which can be used by a wide range of users including those with decreased hand strength and those whose occupation requires repeated grip intensive tasks. The adjustable device enables users to have increased grip, strength power or endurance.

The Carbonhand is a simple device which helps you to have a stronger grip, increased power or improved endurance of hand movements. It can benefit a wide range of users including those who have decreased hand strength due to a neurological condition or accident or those who complete grip intensive tasks in their occupation.

The Carbonhand is an adjustable device which allows the maximum power to be altered depending on the requirements of the user. The device works by using pressure sensitive sensors located in the glove’s fingertips, when pressure is detected the microcomputer (located in the lightweight power unit) will calculate the additional force required to complete the movement. The additional force is transferred to the users fingers using artificial tendons which are controlled by small motors. The Carbonhand can be adjusted and pre-programmed to support individual needs.
