Our orthotists are dedicated to making sure that you get the most out of life with your new device.

Review

For many of our clients, their review appointment is an exciting time where they can look back on their progress since their assessment or their last review. It is our opportunity to ensure that you are making the most out of any devices or treatment you have been prescribed.

Your review appointment is included in the price of your orthotic, and you can continue to come in and see us until you are completely satisfied with your device.

For some of our clients, their treatment is ongoing, for example those who are children, are experiencing changes to their body such as weight loss or for those with long term orthotic needs. For those people, follow up appointments will be made. Our service is always easily accessible at any time and help is always on hand should you need us.

What to expect

When you come to Orthotics UK for your review appointment, you will talk with your orthotist about how you are getting on with your new device. They will also discuss any other treatments that you have been receiving such as physiotherapy and how you feel they are working for you.

Your orthotist can give you advice on how long your device will last and when it is likely to need to be replaced or modified.

Your orthotist will also discuss the goals that you set with them during your fitting appointment or assessment so that you can measure how close you are to meeting those goals. We believe you will feel the benefit yourself, but if appropriate your orthotist can take before and after videos of you sitting, walking or moving so that you can see how you have progressed.
