About custom insoles
Our custom insoles are suitable for anyone who participates in sport. They are designed to not only support your foot and reduce the risk of injury but also to improve your performance. To ensure your feet receive maximum support your custom insoles will be made using materials which will help to distribute forces and absorb shock. Your insoles will be made bespoke to your requirements and will be adjusted depending on the requirements of your sport. At Orthotics UK we will not look at your feet in isolation when providing custom insoles but will look at your whole body and how it moves during your chosen sport.

When should custom insoles be used?
Custom insoles can be used by anyone taking part in any sport. We are able to manufacture our insoles to have a low profile which enables them to be worth within many sports shoes. We also have a wide range of materials which can be used therefore we can produce both rigid and flexible insoles as well as shock absorbing insoles. What is the process to receive custom insoles?
To ensure your custom insoles provide you with the best support our experienced orthotists will complete an assessment which will include observing you move and where possible completing movements similar to those you complete when taking part in sport. Your orthotist will consider the issues you may be having and what your sporting goals are. This information will help them to select appropriate materials for your insoles. To ensure your insoles reflect the shape and contours of your feet your orthotist will take an impression, cast or scan which will then be used to create your bespoke insoles. If you take part in multiple sports which require different levels of support your orthotist will be able to make multiple insoles from the single assessment.
