The process to receive a lycra orthoses would be:
To help assess whether you would be suitable for a lycra orthoses you will have a discussion with your orthotist about your requirements. The assessment will also include measuring your range of movement, muscle strength and tone as well as other areas specific to your needs. If it is decided that a lycra orthoses is suitable the orthotist will take a number of different measurements. Using the information gathered your garment will then be made to measure to provide a perfect fit.
