Lycra gloves can be worn as a pair or as a single handed garment depending on your requirements.

The DMO Open Palm Glove provides support for high muscle tone, hypermobility and wrist flexion conditions. Due to the open palm this device offers increased sensory input and proprioception.

DMO Glove

The DMO Glove can influence the wrist, hand and fingers. The DMO Glove is a designed to aid those with a tremor or high/low muscle tone in their arm and hand. The device can be constructed with carefully placed reinforced Lyrca which guides the arm into a more functional position.

What is the process to be receive a lycra glove?

The process to receive a lycra glove would be:

Lycra gloves need to be close fitting in order to provide the most benefits to the user therefore your orthotist will need to take a number of different measurements of your fingers, hand, wrist and arm. These measurements will then be used to select the appropriate device for your needs.
