What is the process to be receive slippers or indoor shoes?

The process to receive slippers or indoor shoes would be:

  • Assessment
  • Measuring / Casting
  • Fitting
  • Review

If you are already in receipt of orthotic footwear the prescription of these can be copied if appropriate.

The orthotist will complete a full assessment with you discussing your requirements, observing your walking, looking at the condition of your feet as well as taking a series of measurements. Using the information gathered they will be able to recommend a range of suitable slippers or indoor footwear. Our orthotists are able to order from any suitable manufacturer so you will have a large choice ensuring we find the perfect footwear for you. Once you have selected your footwear your details will be submitted to the manufacturer to begin production. Once complete you will return to your orthotist for a fitting appointment to ensure a perfect fit has been achieved.
